makita woes... another 6401 issue.

that is it! The crack was on the bottom of the line, I am going to try to replace it tonight. I am getting 7/64 od, and 1/8 id, and I may see if I can get something at the local mower shop or home creapo.
Don’t use yellow or clear Tygon type lines or they will melt off. Use a black rubber fuel line. 3 x 5 or 3x5.5 MM is perfect
 
Last night I attempted to use a clear yellow line, but the ID was the wrong size, I went to my local mower/small engine shop (shout out to McIntyres in westfield NJ) and he sold me a foot of fuel line that was perfect. I put it back together, and pulled twice with choke, and then third time with choke in, and I have a runner! My buddy has a tach, so now I just have to tune the H screw and I am good to go.
