Hello, I was hoping to get some advice with a maple tree in my yard. For the past couple years the leaves are wilting with brown spots and one half of the tree is much worse with the leaves barely growing at all. We trimmed some of the worst branches in the spring and added some fertilizer a couple times this summer but it didn’t seem to improve this year over last.

i would appreciate any advice, thank you

That's one of the worst cases of chlorosis that I have seen on a maple. Tree growing in very high PH (alkaline) soil suffering from iron and magnesium deficiency. Get a soil test, plan on buying sulfur. It may be too late to recover this tree. Sprays and trunk injections in the short term, need to consult an arborist.

Thank you very much for the advice. I just did some research on chlorosis and I does match what I am seeing. I am attaching a trunk picture as requested. I just ordered a soil test from https://homesoiltest.msu.edu/. I will get that done and see what I have. Thanks again.
