Came from northern California. I bought it probably 15 years ago from a guy. Other than that I can't tell you much. I'm sure it did some big tree work in its day. The saw is unaltered since I bought it.

Pretty neat. . . I bet it’s taken some serious timber in it’s day. Only think I notice is it was switched to electronic instead of points. Really nothing wrong with that anyways

I have a super 797 for sale did you know the super 797 is rare? my dad bought this brand new in 1969. i know it runs he babied this thing. He passed and i inherited it, i have no use for it.

My compression gauge does not work for small engines, but yes, piston and cylinder are clean as nd i will get pictures of the piston later today when I get off of work.

As far as I know, I have not cut wood with it. Its just been sitting and i forgot about it until the day I saw the wanted add.
