More than one 10-10.

And the '12' serial number prefix would be around 1974 maybe? (according to one of the IPL's I have). Not sure about the all yellow tank and air filter cover era, though. Thought they were typically black. Wish I had one to check. LOL
i say if you have one mac you've already got it! i started with a mac 10-10 and a poulan 3700 got rid of the 3700 for another mac[emoji2]

Dont tell the poulan guys you did that Haha. I love my 4000 and it would be very hard for me to get rid of it for any mac. It would also be very hard to get rid of any mac for another poulan too. Kinda like selling ya kids to me I sold my Lombard comango and still wish I didn't.. poor old thing I hope she's doing ok

Christmas gift from my oldest son a couple years ago. Said he stumbled across it online. Can't help but wonder what he was really looking for. LOL
He's a little bent. Said it reminded him of my Macs in a weird kind o' way. Not sure if he was referring to the yellow polka dot blouse or the cinder block shape of the saw.
It's actually one of only a few by a rather interesting California artist named Ming Ong. Innocence and darkness combined with a touch of humor. The life of any party, eh? And since you asked...

-- Ming Ong is an artist and designer, based in Los Angeles, California. Her artwork reflects her international upbringing and inclusive worldview.

At first, Ming's paintings seem to be just sweet, innocent illustrations of children and animals, hearkening back to classic children's books. Upon closer examination, they reveal a darker, more dangerous side.

Viewers are tempted to laugh at these humorous juxtapositions. Then they're challenged to discern their deeper, hidden meaning. Indeed, beyond the bright colors, illustrated style, and nostalgic feel are thoughtful, incisive comments about society and culture.

Ming's artwork is inspired by her rich childhood memories of Southeast Asia and insular experience as a Chinese immigrant growing up in Canada. Recurring themes in Ming's work include loss of innocence, emotional detachment, moral confusion, and cultural disconnect.

Her influences include mid-century American advertising, 80's American cartoons, Chinese propaganda art, Japanese pop culture, and vintage children’s book illustrations, as well as artists Johannes Vermeer, Francisco Goya, Edouard Manet, Francis Bacon, and Jessie Wilcox Smith.

Ming is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design, majoring in illustration. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows across California, and her illustrations have been published in the New York Times, American Illustration 29, Village Voice, LA Weekly, The Stranger, ***** Magazine, and many others. She has launched a line of products featuring her art, including t-shirts, prints, and greeting cards, available online and in select boutique stores. Visit ming-ong.com. --

A little trivia on the Camango name.

Lombard had a contest to name the saw for a prize. Not sure what the prize was but a little girl named it. It stands for "Command and go".

Yea it's a funny story that one. The saw still ran ok was rather tidy but really needed a p/c and I couldn't justify spending that on it when I really didn't have much of an interest in it. The spike now lives on my 800 for the meantime. I should of kept it but got me a new chain for a mac Haha.

Hey toofus I tried to jump on the wife's Facebook and she said I can piss off and get my own Facebook haha. She also pointed me to a t shirt printing place here in town so I think itle be easyer but thanks for the idea though hehe

I would like too for those kinds of things but I really dont like it eh. Maybe I'm an old fart at heart but everyone and everything seems to revolve around the bloody thing. Smoko time at work have a look around and everyone is just mindlessly scrolling through getting fed the bollocks that it feeds them. I cant talk I'm glued to my fone talking to you guys but at least I'm learning stuff and searching for my own brain.

I stay off it because I'll become one too and I've refused it for years now so cant give up Haha I hope you understand:)

Oh I understand. I finally gave in though. It can get out of hand, but only as much as you let it

The elusive 39. Hopefully I will have a chance to do a complete restoration on this one some day.

Even has a "clutch cover" over the bar/chain.

The 39 has the 35A style manual oiler near the rear handle. The custom made fuel cap includes turned threads to match.
