Changing from 1-58 to 1-52

I have an old McCulloch 1-52 (Those are the only numbers on it) It has a huge tank in front of the saw and a hand operated oiling system. I think it is from the mid 60'es.
This saw is indestructible. I just used it today on some old elm trees 3' in diameter. The only problem is that the bar is only 20", and I can not get any new and bigger bars around here. I don't know if it is the best, as I have not tried that many Mac's.

here are my mac's...10-10a,mac310e and mac super 550..the 550 103cc of pure torque only turns about 7000 r's i haven't been able to stop the chain had this saw for 15 years...btw new bar and chain on the 550 .404 63g..36 incher
 
I have my Mac 15 alltogoether now but have carb issues .A good friend who Is not carbureter challenged will straighten it out .However with a little fuel in the jug it fires off to tease me ,soon itll bark i hope.
