This is my first attempt at posting pictures, I hope they come out and are not too big.
A couple pictures of some Doug Fir I recently milled. Milled mostly into 6x6 and 4x6 timbers for a timber framed gear storage barn.

Nice. I'd like to see pics of the barn as you're building it, too. I need one myself. I've got lot's of hemlock I'd like to put to use.

Nice pics, 1st one looks to be a newer saw.
2nd pic the very cute little girl gives some scale to the log.
Good work.

Nice pictures Treebarber, Not too big either. What was that set-up for the first cut made from?

Thanks,
The first cut was made using my neighbor’s homemade 18-foot long 2x2 angel iron guide, you can see it in the background of the second picture. I have a 10-foot aluminum guide I use on most logs and borrow the neighbors for the longer logs.
He asked me to mill some Cedar 2x6’s for his horse arena and was so impressed with the Alaskan mill that he went out and bought him self one and built a longed guide so we could mill longer logs.

Ah yes. I know that tree well......I went for a ride in that tree!!
