I have seen Randy do different things to different saws and I was curious about any compression mods. Simply setting the squish or has this saw had the more extensive pop up piston treatment? Thanks.

I picked this saw up from original owner. Not sure what randy did to the saw. I know he worked his magic inside this saw. It keeps up with my ported 066 all day long.

I don't think Randy uses pop up's. I believe he machines the base of the cylinder.

I believe your right. I remember a discussion about pop ups and he wasn't for using them. He does great work. I have several saws I've had him do and I'm happy with all of them.

nice saw, great price, should sell very quick! These saws weigh the same as an 046, but have the power of a ported ms660

I emailed Randy today and he explained the non pop up. Probably a bad choice of words by me. I meant extra machine work for compression, which Mastermind does. My ignorance on the subject.
