Muffler modification:
Seems to be the first bet for better performance.
If you've done a muffler mod,
Please post a pic.
And give a brief explanation with it...

Here is my 026 cover. I used a 3/8 burr on a die grinder and then a dremel to smooth. It worked great, I just need to race Tom's 5100 now:bowdown:

This past weekend I did a modification to my MS361 muffler. I give full credit to the design of the modification to Lake as he has posted detailed instructions on how to do this. After i ran the saw upon completion of the modification all I could say was, WOW! Everyone here has said that is all this saw needs to bring it to life and they were all correct. The saw even starts better, and the best part is the saw sounds like a chainsaw and not a sewing machine.
