Really glad you got the saw running again after re-adjusting the carb.

As for the muffler screen..leave it out.

Rain sucks...but better than snow..!!

In a way it is, except snow won't soak you to the bone the way rain does.

I can't complain about the temperature though. I was just sitting thinking to myself "It doesn't feel like January".

(I really think you will like this little saw...I sure do mine..!!)

I like how light it is, and for a small saw it cuts really good.
