A MS441C will run circles around the last MS440s.

Unfortunately true. And, it will vibrate a lot less and use less fuel and the air filter will stay cleaner.

the 441c randy did for me has beet every 372 that it has ran against. It has ran against some really strong 372's and beat them easily in 24" oak all saws running a 20" 8 pin. 2 were ported xtorques and 2 were ported originals...and it was not nearly as close as I thought it would be. The 372's do handle better and are lighter for sure....but the 441c wins the horsepower war handily.

The 441c does have much more power than a 440 and vibrates less. The 440 feels better and handles much better to me as a.falling saw. Bucking I prefer the 441c.
