They wanted the numbers on the Zama carb on the 250 but it was still on the saw.
She said what ever number carb I needed would be 92 bucks.
I asked about prices on fuel line and impulse line (thinking of replacing them for general principles due to age and not wanting to work on the saw again later).
Then, my phone battery went dead before I was able to find out anything more.

I was finally able to spend some time with the saw, and got lucky.
Found a herd of sawdust in the carb, due to the crappy air filter design.
The starter rope was only 2 feet long, so when the new roll of it arrived, I was able to install the correct length rope to get a decent pull to start.
The rubber parts inside the carb were intact, so I cleaned everything real good and reassembled.
Needs a final adjustment but seems to run good now.
I am so glad this thing didn't cost me much to fix.
But with the dirty environment saws run in, anything is possible.
Thanks, guys for the help and advice !!!!!!!
