B Harriston: actually from what I'm experiencing, for the way saw is setup, the 24" is better.
I've had the 18 on for 2 years and sick of it. I work in the bush much better this way with the 24. If I need more power, I'm saving up for a good 066 or 660.
At the same time the 260 is light and easy to carry.
And the chain is dull, which no one said until after the video. So I posted someone using my saw on YouTube after it had cut the dirt.:bang:
I've raced my many buddies many times. This saw has 4 different bars to use depending on who I'm racing. 2 bars are 18" with 325 and 3/8 chains.
