MS341 added to my line up - not many in U.S.

I just picked up this MS341. I wanted to see what it was like and add it to my others. It's in pretty good shape. It came with a 20" bar but I wanted this 18" on it instead. If I understand correctly it is an open port version of the MS361 with a different carb and a different ignition module. I don't understand why it was never offered here in the U.S. It seems like it would have been a good alternative for a MS361 compared to a MS310 or MS390 if they could have kept it priced right. Anybody else have one or ran one?

Cool.. and a new one on me. My MediaCat has a couple saws listed that aren't U.S. available, but this one is not in it.

Worth what I got in to me. I wanted one and I bought it!!
I was wondering what a new one sells for compared to the 390,391 or even the 362 as far as where it fell in line if it really matters.

The 341 was priced a bit more than halfway between a 260 and 361. IIRC the 260 was around $599, the 341 $699 and the 361 $749.

Canadian prices of course.

im not sure i think this saw was just a experiment. they are asking about the same i can get one off the self new for 500 or so
