What would you pay for an ms361 parts saw? Or what would a fair price be?

It is missing the flywheel, fly wheel cover, clutch cover, filter cover, top cover and muffler. This is all I saw from a quick look.

The history of the saw is unknown.

It has been sitting in a box for a number of years.

Is the piston/cylinder scored? Any transfer visible through the exhaust port? If so, I'd offer him $20. If no transfer is visible I'd offer $40-$50. Just my opinion though.

I bet the piston is not so good on the intake side. If it isn't scored yet then it is worn very smooth and could be rocking the piston far enough to hang a ring on the exhaust and grenade.
That thing may have a ton of crap built up on it from sitting, but there is still evidence of running with no air filter.

Thanks. Thought I'd try and get a good feel for value. I know the guy who has it and I thought I would give him what it is worth.
