MS660 Blowdown

I have a question for you porters out there. I decided to try my hand at port an aftermarket cylinder I was putting on my 660. It was going well until I decided the transfers weren't quite high enough. I have managed to get the exhaust down to 102° but the transfers were down around 125-127° so I thought I would try to bump them up to around 120°.... that's where things went bad. I kind of over BUMPed them up to 116°. So my question is is it worth putting this thing all back together to see how it will run with only 14° of blowdown or should I just start over? Thanks for any input

Try it. I've never run one with that short but the 046 came like that in the early years.

Run it, it's not like it takes much to put it back together or disassemble if you don't like how it runs
