here' my stock 064 dual port muffler

I ended up going in and making the round hole that I drilled the size of the exh port outlet and it helped out, a lot. I didn't totally remove the box, but simply made the opening in the "baffle" the size of the exh port.

That looks modded. Not stock by Stihl.. Stihl does it right - has a spark arrester that is much larger than the exit.

I made my own version of the dual port cover. I didn't modify the box inside, yet... I thought I'd go in stages and see if I could see improvements from each step. I made the holder for the spark screen to hold a stock screen for the 066. I left the slot in the front open for now. I wasn't sure which way to deflect the exhaust or if I needed to. If I have bark fire problems, I'll add something.
