I have a Husky 262 muffler with a bound up screw holding the screen in place (M4?). This thing just doesn't want to come out. What tricks do you guys use for removing screws which heat/carbon/moisture has bound up solid?

yeah, you can warm it and oil it repeatedly. Kroil, PB, ATF, 3 in 1 etc. Get it hot to the touch, but not so hot that your oil smokes off before it can do anything.
Or, depending where it is and how much heat you can get to the area without burning something just heat the screw and surrounding area till its a dull cherry red and unscrew it.
