Heres pics. of my first homeade mill.I made it years ago before i bought a grandberg from Baileys.It's made from 1and 1/2' steel and is quite a bit heavier than the granberg mill.

Here's another angle.This mill worked real good.I milled thousands of board feet with it.Mostly ASH.It just started getting too heavy,so the granberg was a great replacement. Mark

Cool! Heavy duty looking. You could run that over with a truck and pick it up and mill!!

Looks Ok to me, good and solid.

Mine is from steel too , no need for a gym anymore, just lifting the beast is enough
