Pics of the lower trunk don't look as I remember them here in Iowa but it may be a younger tree. Or the difference in the growing area. The pics of the upper branches are starting to show the mottling. The leaves appear larger than a maple which is characteristic of a sycamore.

Definitely a red maple but what kind exactly. It is an ornamental tree in front of a dentist office. Not the same red maples as here in the forest.
