Need 2 wood ids. Hickory and ash?

I need a couple wood ids. I live in northern Indiana.The first 3 pics are supposed to be hickory. It it very hard to split and is very heavy. It also has thin bark. The second 3 pics are supposed to be ash. It is very easy to split. Thanks for any help.

Hickory is alternate branching. Ash is opposite branching. Good way to be for sure

The hickory looks like either Black Hickory or Mockernut.

Looks right Hickory and Ash. Hickory is heavy when green and can be pretty stringy and tough to split. Ash will be lighter and much easier to split. Both very good heating wood!!
