Need a string trimmer

I have the Echo SRM-260 trimmer and -280 edger. Both have plenty of power for their tasks. If I were doing it again, I would go split-shaft so I could run attachments and only have one power head to feed and maintain.

I would want more power than either offer for blade duty, so I am ambivalent on solid versus flex shaft for trimmerduty.
 
Best one, but can't get these new anymore.

Those Shindy T-25's mentioned above are great small trimmers too. My older Redmax BC3200 is a nice unit also, but not sure of the newer ones.

Have run the 223l trimmer, and they are very light, and have pretty good power for the size. For weekly or biweekly trimming around the home, hard to beat that choice.

Course with the FS-250, can let it grow for weeks on end and still have plenty of power to cut it...
