I want to put a 24" bar on my husky for occasional use. what bar maker would you guys suggest. Also I want to run a better chain than the ones offered at Lowe's or home depot. Preferably a commercial or pro chain. Most of the time I will be using the 18" included w/ the saw. Any help with bar and chain fitment #s or websites would be helpful. I am not lucky enough to have any pro shops around near Columbus Ohio. Thanks Steve

Arboristsite Sponsor baileys-online.com will be able to meet your needs. They have a couple Windsor SpeedTip and Oregon PowerMatch bars in 24" 3/8 that will mount up to your saw. I would definitely go with full-skip chain on a 24" setup on that saw, because 24" is asking a lot for that saw with the stuff we cut here in the midwest.

The chain is 73jg. Skip chisel. That is what I run, 73lg is the same but normal.
