Want to Sell Need info on EZ Homelite saw

I recently purchased an ez homelite chainsaw and not really sure what year it is or how much its worth. It's still a great running saw considering the age of it. Can anyone with any knowledge of these type of saws let me the year its made and is it worth keeping or selling it. Like I said it still runs great and has all orginal parts. Thank You

Best 40cc reed valve saw with a big saw attitude.

IIWM (if it were me) I'd keep a runner.

A fellow north of here has a pile of 'em for 75 each.

Saw was built on the 269 day of 1979, and it was the 331 saw built that day. 40.9cc, saw has decompression valve for easier starts, manual and auto oiling. Top of the line in smaller saws that Homelite sold during that period.

I would use it. Homelite made a LOT of these. Parts are still fairly easy to get, even NOS cylinders and pistons. (unlike other Homelite models).
