Has anyone ever seasoned their new grates in an oven? How ling and what temp? My replacement grate didnt come with any instructions want to be sure it's done right.

Wood heater, fireplace? I imagine it doesn't make any difference, stick it in where it goes and burn wood. You can always check with the manufacturer.
