we are getting read to order some new lifts we have a couple of 60' wh. hi-rangers now and would like your input on this brand and others.we are happy with the ones we have now but their is always room for improvement. so lets hear what you got to say.
 
Altec is about the only current company that makes round booms , most other are square . Square booms can be a real pain as they gert hung up on tree limbs easier . The newer Terex Hi-ranger are very nice for a square boom construction . I think the best choice would ultimatley be service , You really need to have service and customer support nearby . If Altec has a service shop within a 100 miles or so and Hi ranger has a service dept 500 miles away , the safer bet would be the closest supported company. Your current hi-rangers are very good units and it would also be a good choice to stick with tried and true equipment that you are familiar with
