New hot saw coming need some advice

MS881 Ripsaw ported and tuned
*Full comp 25" 404 chain
*8 or 9 pin sprocket
Any other suggestions?
Has anyone run Red Line 2 cycle racing oil? I'll either run that or Amsoil Sabre.

What are you doing with the saw?
The 881 is overkill with a 25 inch bar.
My ported 660 clone runs a 25 inch 3/8 with a 8 pin with power to spare. Most guys use a 881 for 3-6 foot bars lol.
Both those oils are very good, run whichever one you feel like running.

Saw kinda fell into my lap on a trade...I mostly run my other saws with firewood and property trees that need felling...I know it's overkill but it's mine now...
Do you think it will pull a 9pin without a bar mod?

I have no idea if a 9 pin fits without mods. If the sprocket is bigger than the back of the bar you have issues, the bar plugs up non stop and the chain derails easily.
I did this on one saw when I put 3/8lp on a 55cc saw, with the normal length chain it didnt work well. I used a chain that was 2-3 links too short then ground the bar down until it fit and drilled new holes for everything. After that the bar was bigger than the sprocket with only a small gap from the sprocket to bar and it was fine.
