New Husqvarna 365xt hard to start cold and review.

I guess it does make more of a "pffftt" than a "pop" w decomp in. Either way it's kinda tough to hear.:bang:

I Never start a saw with the chain break on.

I guess it's OK if ya get it off very quick after it starts. But I'll not do it. :msp_smile:

Me neither-I often read posts where someone says to engage chain brake before starting.Can't see it.

Figured out my cold start issues.
From cold: choke out, no decomp button, pull three times heard a pop on last pull, choke in, pull twice, on second pull I got highspeed running, pulled trigger, nice idle, all is good.

Thank you good people for all of the tips! I tried this twice today from cold. Works great.

Rock on man. You gotta grate saw there that will serve you well.

Now just make sure your high side is set right as I remember you said you adjusted it rich until it hit the limiters. Yiu may be set too rich now and not get the proper power out. Do you know how many turns or partial turns you turned it to the left? Since yours isn't modded you could also set it with a tach for the high side.
