New never fueled 2017 Jonsered 2252.
I did mod the muffler, opened up the baffle and driller a second port under the factory deflector.
$375 plus shipping f&f or add 3%

These run well set up like that.
Here's mine I got from John with the muffler mod and a 20x3/8 square chain in frozen black locust, it's not even fully broke in yet.

That's what I was thinking. The 2253 is the 550? I have a 545. If it was the 550 equivalent, I would be tempted even though I don't need it.

The major place the 550/2253 will be quicker is limbing speed, and if one guy knows what he's doing over a guy with little experience, the guy with more experience will beat the 2253 with a 2252. Also chain sharpening ability will make more of a difference than the difference between those two saws. It's also important to note that the 2252 has great bottom end power, no need to rev it up to get the power out of it, notice in the video above I just set it on the wood and hit the trigger and off she goes.
