The postman was here the other day with a new OEM P/C(ebay):biggrinbounce2:

But after further inspection........ !?

There is some dots in the jug starting 2,5 cm from the top,

Something to be affraid about??

Not the best OEM cylinder we've seen, but the little pits don't appear serious enough to prevent using the cylinder.

To make the pic show in the post, attach it like you normally do, right click on the attachment, a menu should drop down, select "copy image location."

Now click on the IMG icon (yellow box with mountain). It'll ask you for a link to the pic. PASTE.

That should do it, but preview the post to make sure it works. Sometimes it inserts a redundant http into the address which kills the link.

MS390, was this in the org factory box with wrist pin sealed up.
I see this is a Mahle cylinder, sometimes I think seconds some how
make it out the back door,..................maybe in a lunch box.

I bought a NOS 041 Super PC kit that had the same little pits in the coating
inside the cylinder. They where all below exhaust and intake ports.


With me it would depend how much you had to give for it on ebay.
If it was close to what a new PC kit cost from dealer. I would send it
back...........unless he showed or told about the pits.
