We went up to see the inlaws, spent a little time in the woods, and then at the cemetery to put up some flags and flowers . As we were leaving my father in law asked if I wanted a saw. So this ended up coming home with us.

Cool. My father in law gave me my first saw. An old Homelite Xl-12. I still have the old beast and used it for years before buying my first Shindaiwa.

I don't see myself actually using it, but it will get put up on some sort of a display shelf in the future with my wright reciprocating saw.

I think I have the IPL for that in the stack from Ms Wilson.
LMK if you have need of a scan.
Not that parts can be found for them but you get a feel for their repair.

That would be great. Sometimes it helps to have a picture when diving into something different.
