It is spendy but they start after a year+. I just fill enough to start and run for a bit. Time is money and I spent it getting them running.

Any of youse guys gotni idea what initial carb settings are for the platis fantastic poulans? 2150 PR, pp3416, etc. these things are just weird. Trying to flip couple

Jerry , I remember the H and L to be 1.25 open from lightly seated on my Husqvarna 41 and my relatives Poulan 2025 .

Any of those a strato engine, if so start at 2 turns out. They are picky at setting, they tune a little different than a non- stratos engine. Took me awhile to get the hang of those.

The Poulan 2150 PR is not a strato saw it uses a Walbro WT-324 .

Looks to be about 36 inches in diameter...

Being the nerd that I am, I put together a spreadsheet of wood removal based upon log diameter and kerf width.

Kerf width used for calculation:

• 0.404 chain, 0.35"
• 3/8 chain, 0.32"

Volume of wood removed for a 36" diameter log (cubic inches/cubic feet):

• 0.404 chain, 356.26/0.21
  
• 3/8 chain, 325.72/0.19

Maybe I'll make a web page to calculate this.
