I am committed to make it look whole, I am abivalent about whether or not to try and make it run. I'll need a piston/pin/cylinder and muffler, as well as the reed block/intake/ carburetor and a clutch. Any ideas on what saw this is based on?

Thanks,

Mark

I was using this 5400 as a stand-in for the 54-14 that i have. I needed to cut the opening for the outside filter in a new cover cuz the saw came without it but had all the parts except for the lid and filter. It's getting close to the rebuild time for it. I'm getting excited to get it going. I also have a 8510 that I will put the other head on it. It came with a busted side case that was not weldable. I found a new case for it last year.PXL_20221225_213433161.jpg

When your luck is going good it's nice. Wait more than half the year to get the 7700 and a few weeks later find a 4900 that is the other 77cc in the 5400 style.
From what I noticed over the years. Seems like a 4900 you see 10 for every 1 7700.

I still like the different green top covers on 4900. That made them different to see.

Dont know who's this is I have saved. Looks like must have been a restored one.

Can I ask why 063 on the poulan? That not common thing and stihl does that with their 325.
I dont even keep 063 in stock for locals. Only when a stihl head comes in I have to order 325 063 chains.
I have a roll of it. Jusr trying to match chain an bars.

Here’s something different. Anyone seen this name on a saw before ?
@fossil Tim probably has.

North got different colors and versions then we did down here. Think it depended on who was paying for the labeling of them up there when for sale.

Reading old thread I have. Benchmark lable was sold at hardware stores up there. Never got a answer on Treemaster label.
