No Bar Oil

I have a Stihl 066. I had to install a new bar oil pump and I am still not getting bar oil. I’ve checked with the bar off. The oil path is clean. I replaced the pickup tube and the oil filter but nothing. I checked the pump manually off the saw and it does pump my question is, do you somehow need to prime the pump when you install it on the saw?

Check the Oiler gear, make sure it’s engaging with the clutch.
