Did this vid of my new Dolmar 7900 noodling. It has a Oregon 20" Pro Lite bar and Oregon 3/8X.050 LGX chain.Had the H setting turned all the way to the left.<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/oFDehUU529o&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/oFDehUU529o&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> It seemed to be throwing out chips instead of noodles.

gotta lay the bar in flat with the log to make noodles instead of chips. The way you did it is actually how I prefer to quarter big rounds because it doesn't clog #### up

That saw sure runs well. Those Dolmars really work well for such an ugly saw!

Holy sheep dip Batman, will that thing ever cut.....lol

Wow, I'm amazed.:greenchainsaw:
I knew they cut good,I used a few over across the river there in cheesehead land before. It stopped raining for a bit so I tried doing the noodle thing with the saw flat on the wood and it worked:clap:just a small angle and no noodles.

Yeah lay the bar perfectly flat on the log for the whole cut and you will have noodles. Don't tilt the saw forwards or backwards. The bar has to be parallel to the log.
