For sale is a NOS thin ring piston for a Husqvarna 2100. Included are 4 new rings and 3 spare used rings. This is a 56mm piston with 0.6mm rings. If I'm not mistaken, it will also fit the 2101 and 1100. One circlip is missing. I'm asking $199 OBO. BTW, this item is also listed on eBay.

Don't see many of these around. Super deal with the extra rings. GLWS Brad.

It fits in a 395

Well..........

Same bore but the crown height is wrong. No point in wasting an expensive NLA piston (that's the wrong height, and would need to be cut) in a 395XP when the OEM slug is available for 1/2 the price (and the Meteor 395XP piston kit is 1/4 the price).

This thin ring 1100-2101 piston should be used in an 1100-2101 series saw (imagine that). Now if Meteor would just start cranking out some $50 1100-2101 series piston kits...

Ok, I'll agree that it should be used in an 1100-2101 saw since they need it, but you could cut the piston for a popup/domed piston in a 395. I read someone else did it.

Good piston to put into a 394/5 to cut the chamber .040" and then set the squish.

Wouldn't compression end up way too high? I had something like 210 with a popup piston in a 395.
Not really. Depends on where you put the exhaust. Durand did one with a 2101 piston and it was 200~ or so. I can't remember for sure.
