in my body, but, why can't I copy something as beautiful as this and have it come out looking half as good? It is just making a copy for Pete's sake. I suspect the finish makes tthe difference.

I bet whoever made that bowl, it was not his first try! Items like that are made by those that try and strive over and over to get to that level.

I have been trying the Enviro Tex Lite finish with unusually poor results. I am improving. By the time I get competent at it, I will have spent 12,000,000 bucks on this stuff.

Don't think about the end result too much. Just enjoy the process. If you do that and keep at it then sooner or later you will create something as beautiful or maybe more so.
