I guess that proves that it can be done, assuming your rebuilt 250 runs today. If it does, that means that we need to share a recycling award of some sort. These awards are seldom handed out because most folks don't want us wasting our time restoring anything. They would much rather have us shelling out big bucks for new saws.
 
She runs like a top!!!

To be honest... i think it runs better than my brand new Farm boss.

When I start both when they are dead cold, the farm boss will require throttle input to stay idling til she warms up. I’ve also never touched the carb. Only ran about 1.5 gallons through it

This 250 just rebuilt it and starts and idles... granted I’ve never run it hard cutting wood for an extended period of time to see a hot idle. But it runs amazing.
