Oak logs prices staying high?

Anyone heard if oak gonna stay high thru this spring? Cuttin some nice stuff in mid coast maine. Been averaging $650 a thousand or so

Red oak came down some but white oak is doing really well here in central pa. It's still easy to get over $2000 a tri axle load.

id say thats fair for those logs. white oak is hot here as well.........it always is really.

The red oak being king I think may be done for a while. As well as cherry

huh? white oak here is splitty as hell. i know guys that just can't cut it with out busting it. it can be turned, but red is easier. funny how wood is different all over. i bet your ash isn't splitty......ours is.....about the worst.

Our ash is a bastard. Our white oak is plenty splity. Practice practice practice. Once you learn how it listens it's game on.

That pick from early jan. Got bout four feet of snow in the woods now!!! My poor 440b is havin a tough time pullin wood now

I got my firewood yarded for next year 1 week before we got 2' of snow. Glad I am not out in it trying to cut now.
