OE 346 broken cooling fin - run it or throw it

I would think that a high revving 346 might get a bit compromised in heat dissipation with fins(fin) missing. Never ran a saw with broken fins before. Would running 32 or 40:1 mix, and a little richer setting, to cut down the chance of over heating, be helpful?

More oil actually runs hotter. It's the fuel that cools. I can't see one fin missing getting hot enough to hurt anything, especially with a good muffler mod which really helps get rid of the heat.

Guess I should be running high octane fuel, might help keep the heat down some. 80 mile round trip to the nearest 110 pump though.
