I didnt realize the date had been set for this week. I hope you guys can take the time to get your opinions to your elected officials.

The public meeting was not on March 7th.,the last day for sending comments to the Ohio EPA was on that date. The date for the public hearing,as far as I know has not been set.

The best thing you can do if you want to fight the proposed changes is to get the local Amish communities involved. Most of the Amish schools use OWBs and for some reason that I can't explain the Amish have an inordinate and undeserved amount of political influence in Ohio. They were successful in organizing a lot of opposition to the proposed state wide on site septic system changes.

Ohio EPA has extended the comment period for the new rules.
All comments must be received by Friday March 21,2008.
