What's the difference in Oilomatic saw chain and Oilomatic 3 saw chain from Stihl? The number 3? A marketing thing? I assume the Oilomatic 3 is newer, more advanced somehow, maybe? I searched and didn't find any good info on any differences, and Stihl's site just talks about Oilomatic, no 3 that I can find, so either there is none, and looking at the chain, doesn't appear to be any difference, or I'm missing something. Needless to say I have a mixture. No big deal, seems the same to me, but was curious what if any differences. Either way, it'll get used.
Also, I notice of all the chain I've got, most have holes in the drivers, either .325 or 3/8, but I have 2, 3/8 chains that have the oil channels, but no holes. Older chain?
Thall???
