Old school muffler mod!

I received a 032AV that was my grandpas that has been sitting since the mid eighties. Well I was cleaning it up and removed the muffler and noticed a little MM.

Don't give the saw back to grampa till you do the muff mod. Grampa will be ten years younger and grama will be thrilled.

That is definitely an oxy/acetylene job

Here are some pics of the saw. Just so you know like any stihl you can't beat'em just put a little oil in the cylinder a new plug in it, fresh mix and screamed back to life! I comp tested after running it at 150psi. Wonder if i pull the top end off if I'll find anything else. Also it looks to have come with a 20" 3/8 x .050 chain stock?

Looks like Gramps took good care of it. It's really cool to have something handed down to you, especially something that you can put your hands on & think to yourself "my Gramps hands used to hang on to these same handles".
