Sometimes things just get away from you.
Dropped a nice birch that took a smaller balsam with it. The balsam reckage keep the last 15 feet of the tree suspended off the ground.
Pinched the bar when the log jammed against the previous round and went to kick it out of the way. As it came free the saw went down and the log came right onto it.

Luckily it came down slow enough and the snow helped cushion the landing. Not a scratch on the new 562.
