I got this saw with a bunch of others that i bought but I don't have the time or money to dump into it right now.

For sale I have a 371 xp Husky (PHO) saw with a dual ringed piston and a fulll wrap handle. The throttle spring on the handle is broken and the coil pack needs replaced but the saw has compression just no spark. For some reason the muffler is missing and the chainbrake and brake handle are also missing. Also, the bar nuts are missing and an av spring is broke.

I know that the full wrap handles can sell for $50 so i figured that the whole saw is worth $120 or SEND ME AN OFFER I AM OPEN TO THEM!! You pay shipping.

I also can trade for a mcculloch or poulan saw. I could use stuff for pro mac 10-10 or any of the following poulans 2700,2800,3000,3100,3300,3350,3500,3600. But feel free to send me something if you want to trade.

Saw is Sold to Eriks. Thank you everyone. I got to ask was my price too low? lol. Guess black friday started early on here.

I wouldnt say it was TOO low... But then again I'm the buyer so I guess I'm biased. Id say it was a "sell it in the next 60 min" price though, even considering it has no spark and is missing a part or two.

honestly, it was about right. most stuff on here is priced too high. it would take quite a bit of doing to do up that saw right. Erik is going to need to split the case, new bearings and seals, new muff, bracket, coil, clutch cover, handle spring, plug, fuel filter and line ... and thats just the stuff on the tip of my tongue... it all adds up to a lot of work, and if you don't come in under $500 total then it might have been a waste of time. probably needs a new piston too. ... certainly a good idea... fresh starter cover maybe? all in all, price was about right where it needs to be. otoh, if you had parted it out you would have gotten plenty more than you asked.

Good thing I build chainsaws for a living! Have yet to try my hand at porting... But ill get there!

It definitely is. Sometimes i give customers an estimate on a repair which is just ABSURD, and not by any choice of mine... Just what it comes to. One that comes to mind was a 361 i just did. Wasted top end. Leaking case gasket. So i priced it out, cut him a break on the labor, but w OEM parts it came out to just under $500. Hell just the jug and slug was $278 if i remember correctly. Add in bearings, seals and gaskets and labor... And he said "sounds good to me. Do it". My jaw about hit the floor...

I just found out that I was using an inappropriate sealer in the wrong place... done at least a dozen saws like that... uh oh. One stupid thing goes wrong and the whole $500 you are talking about flys right out the door. i have done enough saws now to know that turning a profit on these is near impossible, no matter how much you charge. My hats off to you and best of luck w/ the 371.

I fully agree. And believe me, ive learned some lessons the hard way, and at significant expense! Experience is what you get when things go wrong, and its your own damn fault. LOL

Well Eriks has yet to send me money. I am gonna give him one more hour and hopefully he at least tells me he dont want it. So much for me being nice and not having him pay on thanksgiving. Well learned my lesson.

Saw was sold to mattyo cause never received payment from eriks. My luck he is the type that will come on here and complain. But if he wanted then he should of paid me!! Sorry eccentric mattyo was next in line even thought those parts are very tempting!!! Are they for sale anyhow?
