any of you guys burn Osage. burnt some this winter burns hotter than hickory but shoots sparks like a sparkler. I have a furnace in the basement so no fire worries for me but watch out if your burning in a fp. i wouldnt recommend it.

maybe pieces that are not straight or large as you are burning money
that is the best bow wood on the planet and is very valuable if cured
proper!!

osage orange, in pieces about 3x3 inches 6 feet long, is also sought after as the spring pole in foot operated wood turning lathes. Very high BTU value though to be sure.
