I saw your posts/threads about the insert you had installed. We've got two fireplaces in our home (one on the main floor in the family room and one in the basement. My wife is now working from home (we setup her office in the basement. Hey, how many people have a fireplace in their office ???) and I've been looking at heating our home with wood, so now would be the ideal time to get an insert for the basement fireplace. It should keep the house warm with maybe just a little help from gas furnance.
