Partner P-85

I've got an old Partner P-85 and was wondering if someone makes an electronic ignition that would replace the points system? Are they good saws? are parts available? Thanks, Matt in KY

i think they are great saws from what i hear. there are universal inserts for these.. the coil has to be ok for it to work. i have one that i'm looking to replace the coil on. thats been the fun part.

if you aren't sure how.. be sure to have someone check to see if your coil is in fact the problem. the points are fairly simple to fix.
