This saw was my dads and we used it up until last winter. As you can see in the last few photos, the chain guard plate on the bottom half has worn all the way down and came off causing the chain to rattle. Any ideas on replacing it? I also don't have much knowledge of the saw apart from the fact that my dad has had it since before I was born. It's always ran extremely well and seems to be practically indestructible.

You have the early top handle s-10 It is built on the 1108 series case.
It's the same as a 08 just a smaller bore by a couple of mm.
Here's mine, those bar guides are the same as a contra, 07 and 08 when you find a set take a flat blade screwdriver and work it under the old plate towards the rivets and pry them up. that's how to remove them.20160301_170700.jpg 20160301_170645.jpg
