Hey guys, my father-in-law has a great old custom built circular saw mill. He used it to mill all the wood to build his house but hasn’t used it much in the past 5 years.

He’s looking for a couple of plastic blade guides that will help stabilize the blade as it spins and not wobble or move around. Hopefully I’m describing that right.

Pic below of the mill.

Anyone know where I could find a part like that?

Im having trouble visualizing what you mean. Do you need a thrust bearing on the shaft or a guide further out on the blade? Maybe you could take a close up picture with an arrow pointed to where you need the stabilizer. Something that old would almost undoubtedly need to be custom fabricated. Do you have tool to machine plastic? It can be done with simple power tools if you have mind to. I have used plastic cutting boards in a pinch for roller chain guides. McMaster Carr is a good resource for parts and material.
