Hey,
Looking For A Parts Saw For My 55 Rancher. Local Dealer Has One
Thats Missing Alot Of The Parts Already, And Still Wants 25.00
I Only Paid 100.00 For The Saw, And It Needs A Few Things Chain
Adjustment, Two Studs For Side Cover, And A Few Screws Here And
There. But Would Like To Keep It Running.
The Only Way To Start This Thing Is Drop Cranking, For It Has To
Much Compression. Don't Bog Down In 24" Oak. Anyway Whats The
Average For A Parts Saw.

Would not want to say that there is an average, it depends completely on the saw and the seller. A saw that has the parts you are looking for under half the price of the new parts would be a good deal. That is if the used parts are still in good condition.

If that $25 parts saw, has the parts you need, jump on it!

An intact 55 with a bad cylinder and piston will sell between $75 and $100 on ebay and if the plastic is real clean, probably a little more. You can also use a 51 for parts, as most interchange with the 55.

Btw, this thread is being moved to the trading post forum. :)
